This 5 Days Under Canvas Safari covered Manyara, Serengeti and Ngorongoro Conservation Area works all year round, except during heavy rain season we will have to replace Manyara National Park with Tarangire National Park.

  • Day 1: Arusha to Lake Manyara, overnight at Kirurumu Manyara Lodge
  • Day 2: Manyara to Serengeti N/Park, overnight at Katikati Tented Luxury Camp
  • Day 3: Serengeti National Park, overnight at Katikati Tented Luxury Camp
  • Day 4: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area, Rhono Lodge
  • Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha Airport or JRO

DAY 1: ARUSHA TO LAKE MANYARA NATIONAL PARK

Depart Arusha at 9 AM and proceed to Lake Manyara National Park for game viewing. The distant on driving from Arusha to Lake Manyara National Park is approximately 1:30 hours. National Park. Lake Manyara is known for the flamingos that dwell the lake. Because of the Lake, the National Park is a good spot for bird watching. While more than 450 species of birds inhabit the park and many remain throughout the year. Lake Manyara is also famous for its tree climbing lions. Others Wild animal that found in Lake Manyara is leopards, Maasai giraffe, lions, elephants, Thomson’s, cheetahs, blue monkeys, dik-dik, gazelle, hippo, impala, Grant’s zebras and more inhabit the park and several can be seen all the year round. There is a hippo pool at one end of the Manyara National Park where the guests can get out of their cars and watch from a safe distance. Game viewing for the rest of the day and overnight at KIRURUMU MANYARA LODGE outside Lake Manyara. Meals plan full Board (Accommodation, Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner).

DAY 2: MANYARA TO SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast, proceed to Serengeti National Park via Ngorongoro Conservation Area and the Southern Serengeti. Driving from Manyara National Park to Serengeti is about 4 hours. Game drive as you enters the Serengeti and continues with the game for the rest of the day. It’s an incredible procession of almost two million wildebeest and zebra that takes place each year from January to December in a different location of the Serengeti, and many people visit the Serengeti to see the migration and big cats. But even when the migration is quiet in another part of the Serengeti, the Serengeti proffer arguably the most brilliant game scrutiny in Africa, big cat such as lions, leopard, cheetahs, a large bull buffalo, groups of elephant, giraffe, hartebeest and thousands upon thousands of antelope, Grant’s gazelle, kongoni, eland, topi and impala. Overnight at KATIKATI TENTED CAMP in Central Serengeti. Meal Plan Full Board, Dinner, Breakfast, Accommodation and Lunch/Picnic Lunch.

DAY 3: FULL DAY SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK

Early morning game viewing with your breakfast box, then return to the camp for lunch and relax in your tent until evening. At around 3:30 depart for another game viewing and proceed experience the plain of Serengeti National Park. In the Seronera Natural depression, you might be lucky to see predators hunt as the animals gather in the waters during the dry season. Meals and overnight at KATIKATI TENTED CAMP. Meal Plan Full Board, Dinner, Breakfast, Accommodation and Lunch/Picnic Lunch.

DAY 4: SERENGETI TO NGORONGORO CONSERVATION AREA

Half day game viewing as you exit the Serengeti National Park. Proceed to Ngorongoro Conservation Area; arrive at the RHINO LODGE in time for your Dinner and Overnight. Meal Plan Full Board, Dinner, Breakfast, Accommodation and Lunch/Picnic Lunch.

DAY 5: NGORONGORO CRATER TO ARUSHA

Early departure for your Crater game viewing. The Ngorongoro Crater is the largest intact volcanic crater in the world, at more than 2,000 feet under and 12 miles in diameter, the Ngorongoro Crater has one of the greatest concentrations of wildlife in Africa. More than 25,000 animals make their home in this Ngorongoro crater, presenting it an excellent spot for sightings of the ‘big 5′ – lion, elephant, rhino, buffalo, and leopard. This truly world-class attraction is also known as the ’8th Wonder of the World.’ Before the permit expires, it is time to drive out of the Conservation Area and drive to Arusha for your schedule flight back home.
