Tanzania Northern Safari Circuit
North East Tanzania is known as Tanzania Northern Safari Circuit is the richest wildlife safari destination in the East Africa and the entire Africa. With varied of the natural geographical features like The Great Rift Valley, Mountain Kilimanjaro, Mount Meru, Lake Victoria and Oldoinyo Lengai (Mountain of God) which contains many large and ecologically significant wildlife parks and game reserve areas, such as the world famous and iconic Serengeti National Park and Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
Also, of course, they’re less well-known neighbors, Tarangire National Park and Lake Manyara National Park, offers a vesture of safari choices, such as wildlife game sighting in the national parks, mountain trekking, and hiking, walking expeditions and cultural and tribal tours to various villages.
Virtually all safaris and cultural visit in the Northern Parks and game reserve are involved traveling by road from Arusha with a particular 4 x4 private vehicle and driver-guide throughout the different parks, staying at various types of lodges and campsites inside the National Park or outside the park.
The best safari should be combined fitness activities such as walking or hiking. The most and top hiking is in the Ngorongoro Highlands at the Olmoti Crater and Empakai Crater accompanied by Maasai Warriors as a guide.

The Northern Tanzania Circuit can be visited all year round although the best times to visit are either side of the peak seasons, middle of January, February, March, middle of May and June to see the migration especially in the Serengeti and Ngorongoro in Ndutu Area.
During the dry season in the month of September, October, November and beginning December, the animals are seen beside the water bodies, e.g. Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro Crater floor, Tarangire River and Mara River.
The best time to climb Mountain Kilimanjaro and Mount Meru is in the month of September to early November, which in during the dry season, when the sky usually clears from clouds.
Avoid the rain season that commences from March and finishes in June, since the slopes are more slippery with a lot of mud. However, the trekking can also arrange for Middle of December, January, February, June and July.
